Juvenile Defenders Association of Pennsylvania Presents Seminar in Erie

The Juvenile Defenders Association of Pennsylvania ("JDAP") presented a seminar in Erie on July 18, 2012.  The seminar was titled, "Meeting New Challenges & Delivering Effective & Quality Juvenile Delinquency Defense Representation."

 The all-day seminar, at the H.O. Hirt Auditorium, included topics on new case law developments, recent changes to the Rules of Juvenile Procedure, and new requirements for juvenile sex offenders regarding registration and notification (SORNA).

Presenters at the seminar included Erie County Chief Public Defender, Patricia Kennedy; Board President of JDAP, Elton Anglada; and the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Coalition for Justice, Phyllis Subin.

 Attorney Williams attended the seminar with several other Juvenile Defenders from Western Pennsylvania.
