Rust Belt Business Law is excited to announce that six of our employees recently completed IRS Program # CEQXT-T-01512-23-0, earning two continuing education hour credits from the IRS on the topic of the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC).
The ERTC is a tax credit created by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to help businesses keep their employees on payroll during the COVID-19 pandemic. The credit is available to businesses that maintained their workforce during the covered period, and, among other things, can be used to offset federal income taxes.
The employees completed the program through CTEC's eLearning platform. The program covered the fundamentals of the ERTC, including eligibility requirements, calculation methods, and documentation requirements.
Rust Belt Business Law is proud of our employees for taking the initiative to complete the IRS program. This shows their dedication to their craft and commitment to providing our clients with the best service possible.
If you have any questions about the ERTC or other tax credits, please contact us today. We would be happy to help you understand your options and maximize your benefits!
