"When you want to help people, you tell them the truth. When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear." – Thomas Sowell
Like many of us here at Rust Belt Business Law, Ryan began his career young. At age 13, Ryan invested in a vending machine at a local bowling alley to help fund his hobby and feed his love of the sport. As he got older, he began managing his own portfolio and swing trading equities and options.
Ryan graduated from Gannon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; he majored in Finance and minored in Political Science. While attending college, Ryan worked for Calamari's Bar & Restaurant, and he served as part of the management staff that launched their highly successful Catering division, Cali's West Catering. Under Jay and Marci Honard, Ryan got his first taste of consulting when they took on a transformational consulting engagement with a local social club. He's loved consulting small businesses ever since.
After school, Ryan moved to Denver, Colorado and sold office equipment, software, and managed-IT services to major accounts in the Central Business District. By going above and beyond for his customers, Ryan found himself ranked at the top of the sales organization and was a consistent President's Club recipient for his sales success.
Outside of his professional life, Ryan enjoys following the world of politics and finance; he constantly researches the markets, economic and public policy, and closely monitors the actions of Central Banks. He considers himself a member of the Bills Mafia, and no matter what anyone says, it'll always be 'their year' this time around. In the summer months in Erie, Ryan can be found riding his bicycle around the peninsula, on a golf course, or playing lawn games—cornhole, bocce, lawn darts…you name it. He's a self-proclaimed corn hole champion, and no one can take that away from him...ever!
