Susan Miller

Susan Miller is the Controller at Rust Belt Law.  She comes to us with over 20 years of experience in accounting.  In the past, she has worked in various industries including not-for-profit, manufacturing, and health care.  She was born and raised in the Erie Area and has a B.S.B.A in Accounting from Slippery Rock University.  She and her husband Craig are high school sweethearts and have been married for over 25 years. They have three children, Samantha, Jayden, and Kamryn.  She and her family live in Albion, PA with their two bird dogs, Remy and Nellie.  

Susan is a true crime podcast junkie, a boardgame aficionado, and loves books.  She loves the psychology behind true crime and the puzzle of solving the crime.  She enjoys playing board games with friends and family and is always ready to try a new game.  She believes you can really tell a lot about a person by how they react to setbacks while playing. She definitely wants to win when playing but also wants to make sure that all are having a good time doing it.  Her favorite books contain stories of real people overcoming life's challenges.

Susan attacks life with three principles. The first, work hard to be a better person than you were yesterday.  Second, if you see someone in need and can help, you should.  Lastly, laughter truly does heal the spirit – laugh loud and often.
